Usaha Pengurusan Dalam Meningkatkan Kecemerlangan Sukan Sekolah

This study was conducted to determine the relationship among five factors as independent variables that contribute to achievement of sport excellence in the secondary schools. The five factors considered in this study are the leadership factors, coaches, sports programs,
sports facilities and parental partidpation. The objective of this research is also to determine which factors exert the most dominant influence towards the excellence sport achievement in the secondary schools.
Respondents consist of form 4 students from ten schools in the district of Kerian in Perak. A total number of 384 students responded to the questionnaires.
Six hypothesis were made for this research. The hypothesis
methods used are the Pearson Correlation Test and Multiple
Regression Test. The feedback from the research concluded positive significant relationship between the leadership factors, coaches, sports programs, sports facilities and parental participation in enhancing the excellence of sports in the secondary schools. However, in this context
the sports programs is the most dominant factor in compared to the leadership factors, coaches, sports facilities and parental participation.
