Abstract
This study examines the level of work ethics among auditors in School Audit Division, Ministry of Education in the Klang Valley, and to determine whether there are significant differences in the level of work ethics based on
demographic and work factors i.e. gender, marital status, age, salary, grade of position, length of service, and recipients of the excellent service award. 51 staff who are involved in the audit of school accounts from 3 offices in the Klang Valley participated in this study. A questionnaire was used as instrument to measure the level of work ethics. Data gathered was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, i.e. Independent Sample t-Test and One-way ANOVA. The findings show that the majority of respondents demonstrated a high level of work ethics, and there are no significant differences in the level of work ethics based on demographic and work factors
mentioned earlier.
