Abstract

This survey was conducted to determine the level of Organizational Climate and the level of Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE) perceived by the staff of State Educational Department. It was also conducted to examine the nature of relationship between Organizational Climate and Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE) among them. A total of 358 respondents from various sectors of managements in 5 State Educations Department had been involved in this survey.The data collected were analyzed by Statistical Package for Social Science(SPSS) version 15.0 software program. Statistical analysis techniques such as
mean and standard deviation test, Pearson Correlation as well as multiple regressions were used to test 6 hypothesis of this survey.The findings show that the respondent perceived the level of their Organizational Climate and their Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE) at the high level. The finding also showed that there are positive and significant relationships between Organizational Climate and their Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE) but at
the low and weak level in the correlation of each other. At the multiple regression analysis, the result showed that all of 4 dimensions of Organization Climate had not significantly influence to the level of Organization-Based Self-Esteem (OBSE)as perceived by the respondents.
