Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between organizational culture and work performance among the officers and men of Royal Malaysia Police Force (RMP). This study also aimed at determining whether organizational culture dimensions which are supportiveness, emphasis on reward, innovation, performance oriented and stability & communication predict the variance in work performance among the officers and men of RMP. Out of 385 questionnaires distributed, a total of 265 questionnaires were returned and can be used. The data was analyzed using
“Statistical Package for Social Science” (SPSS) version 15. The result shows that the level of supportiveness, emphasis on reward, innovation, performance Oriented and stability & communication are moderate. Analysis using Pearson correlation indicates that all five dimension in organizational culture have a significant and
positive correlation with work performance. In addition, multiple regression analysis shows that only supportiveness, emphasis on reward and innovation significantly can influence work performance. Therefore, the management and top leader in RMP should stress on supportiveness, emphasis on reward and innovation in order
to enhance work performance among officers and men of Royal Malaysia Police Force
