The teachers view could be affected by gender, age, academic qualification, position held in school and length of service. Only 175 forms were returned and completed. The questionnaire was divided into 2 sections. The data obtained was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics in SPSS version 9.0. In the study, 6 hypotheses were tested using the t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation method and the reliability analysis using the Cronbach Alpha method in a Not study. The results of the analysis indicated that the views of the teachers towards the importance of teamwork and the factors determining the achievement of teamwork were sidcantly related to their position held in school. In contrast, this study indicated that there were no significant difference between teachers views on teamwork and their age, gender, academic qualifications and length of service.
