Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of physical development through the implementation of physical development projects undertaken by the Physical Development Unit of Pejabat Daerah Sik. Physical development is a facilities and infrastructure development activities in order to change, community development, technological advances, expanded vision and community mindset, behavior and lifestyle community. Implementation of physical development in Sik District Office following the rules or Laws of Malaysia Plan to ten 2011-2015. Treasury circular Letter No. 5 Year 2009 concerning change limit value and procurement management Procedure in quotations, and quality prosuder MS ISO 9002:1994 about District Development Project Management. This study identified problems which happen at the time implementation of physical development projects, where these problems are in project selection, project delays and budget problems. The findings of this study is that all these problems are old problems that always occur in every implementation of physical development. This study was performed on Physical Development Unit at District office Sik. The study result can be expected to contribute towards a better understanding in the enhancement of the effectiveness of physical development, and also for example in the implementation of guidelines for the physical development of the Government of Aceh forward
