Abstract

MyResults system was introduced by the Government and has to be adopted by all
ministries and federal departments. MyResults system fully supports the Outcome Based Budgeting system and it is one of the initiatives under the Government Transformation Programme. Studies on the users of the MyResults system and the level of acceptance towards the system have not been widely conducted. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between the two independent variables namely perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use towards the user satisfaction among government users. In addition, this study also attempts to determine the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use towards user satisfaction. A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed and received responses from 106 respondents. The response data were analysed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 19 software. The findings that based on the correlation analysis disclosed that perceived usefulness has a significant relationship with user satisfaction at r=.780, p<0.01, as well as perceived ease of use that also has a significant relationship with user satisfaction at r=.810, p<0.01. The findings that based on regression analysis show that both variables perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have influence of 75.4% (R Square=.754) towards the user satisfaction of MyResults system. This study also shows that the level of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and user satisfaction of MyResults system is at the moderate level.
