Pengurusan Maklumat Pensyarah Maktab Perguruan Menggunakan SISMap

Information is an important resource in every aspect of today's globalization. The use of information system has an impact on the way the managers carried one planning, decision making the end products as well as the services
delivered to the users. Today, Web-based information systems applications have become the main agenda for many organizations. Several systems have been implemented to Maktab Perguruan Malaysia such as InSiS, SMS and
SiMPeL. The disadvantage of this systems is that they are not developed as web based applications. To overcome this problem, web based application known as SiSMap developed to manage the database for lecturer information at
Maktab Perguruan Malaysia. A prototype has been developed based on the WebE model using the UML language. Some of the modules available on SiSMap are punch card recorder, lecturers' biodatas, lectures' activities, cocurricullar activities, practicum, courses, lecturers' leaves, students' biodatas, maintenances and report. Every module has on-line ability to add, change, delect and update record. In addition, the prototype has the ability to
maintain and generate reports for every module, and can be browsed on-line.
