Abstract

This research is done in order to look into the relationship between Total Quality Management (TQM) and the job satisfaction of the teachers of cluster schools in Kelantan. The research involves only two variables; the dependent variable is job satisfaction, while the independent variable is the Total Quality Management (TQM). The research samples were 130 teachers from two cluster schools in Kelantan.
The research instruments were divided into 3 sections; Section A included demographic factors, Section B was regarding the TQM and Section C was about job satisfaction. The
research hypothesis was there is no relationship between TQM's elements and the job
satisfaction of the teachers of the two schools. Thus, inference analysis was done to test the hyothesis. The finding shows that there is a negative relationship between the elements of TQM with the teachers' job satisfaction. It is discussed by referring to previous researchers and also based on literature review
