Abstract
Stress refers to the establishment of behavioral and emotional impact on an individual. This study was conducted to identify the factors that cause stress and pressure of work to Publication Officer/Editor in Malaysia Public Institutions of
Higher Learning. The main objective of this study was to examine the relationship between organizational factors, individual factors and environmental factors that affect the stress levels of respondents. The study involved 85 people Publications Officer/Editor in 20 Public Institutions of Higher Learning. Of the 85 questionnaires distributed via online (online), a total of 75 sets of questionnaires answered. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis, the correlation analysis and regression analysis. 21 hypothesis was formed after the factor analysis and inferential analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the
independent variable on the dependent variable. The results showed the tasks and role in the organization affect emotional stress to Publication Officer or Editor in universities. Some suggestions were made that every organization can provide
publishers with the best human resources in producing a publication.
