Abstract

Nowadays, the majority of companies have started to acknowledge the significant effect of supply chain management performance to the success of a company. The main objective of this study is to identify the relationship between alignment plan, delivery, innovation, human factors and control, on supply chain management performance of controlled products subsidies fertilizer in Indonesia. About 55 items instrument is measured by Likert scale. A total of 800 questionnaires were distributed to the respective sample location and 580 or 73% of responses were successfully returned to be utilized in the study. 513 or 64% usable responses were
analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS application. The findings indicate that the alignment plan, delivery and innovation have a significant direct effect on the supply chain management performance of controlled goods. In addition, as for the human factor, although it does not directly affect the supply chain management performance, it plays an important role because it significantly influences and determines the success of the alignment plan, delivery, and innovation which subsequently affects the performance of the supply chain management. Implications of this study provide valuable insights for the government on the alignment plan, delivery, innovation, human factors and enforcement to monitor the rules in making fertilizer in accordance to provisions designated at the right time and the right location, with the right type, quantity, quality, and prices to suit the conditions. The finding of this study is expected to shed meaningful insights to the government policy and academic literature and
provide reference for practitioners to plan and practice on how to run a supply chain management on controlled products efficiently and effectively. For future studies, the focus can be on any other commodity subsidies.
