Abstract

The study aims to sec the impact of commitment towards job satisfaction among the workers in the National Registration Department (NRD), Putrajaya Headquarters. This study examines the dimensions of commitment with relation and influence to job satisfaction among staff in (NRD). A total of 167 respondents were involved in this study using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionaire questionnaire to measure job satisfaction. while commitment was measured by the questions developed by Allen and Meyer. The
data were analyzed using the Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.
This study was quantitative and descriptive test that determined the frequency and percentage of respondents. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between commitment to job satisfaction. Analysis also shows only normative commitments that have influence on job satisfaction.
