Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that influence job satisfaction among employees in hotel. Job satisfaction can be identified as an employee assessment of the level of work that meets the individual needs. The objective of this study is to study the relationship between reward and job satisfaction. This study involved 155 respondents comprising the hotel. The survey method was collected using a questionnaire to employees at hotel which located in Kedah. The questionnaire used was analysed through “Statistical Packages for Social Science” as this study was quantitative research. Descriptive analysis and technical inference analysis have been used in this study. The objectives of these two techniques of analysis are used to determine the relationship between independent variables that are rewards (Monetary rewards and non-monetary rewards and dependent variables (Job Satisfaction). Only one factor that is a reward is concentrated according to this study. The organizations should not ignore this problem as it may cause a sharp decline in work satisfaction among hotel employee. To maintain a quality workforce with a very productive effort where the hotel is a place visited by many visitors. This study plays a very important role in identifying the variability that leads to change and in addition provides a way to overcome the problem of turnover intention.
