The finding of the study shows that in demographic factors, genders and race have significant influence on the decision to enroll in science stream, but the numbers of siblings, the birth order of student, the geographical background and locality of their primary schools are not significant influence on their decision. In socio-economic status of their parent, the mothers’ education and the parental income are significant, but the fathers’ education and their parental occupation are not significant. In academic achievement, Bahasa Melayu, English, Science and Mathematics are significant influences. In environment factors, friends, media, career interests and motivation are significant influences on theirs decision, but family, teachers and schools are not significant.
