Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify career selection
suitability based on Holland's Career Theory in Modenas.
Demographical factors and R, I and K personality
measurement were used to look at the relationship that
may occur between operator's career personality and
working nature in Modenas. The result of the study of the
career selection shows that gender, marital status and
working type affected the career selection suitability in
Modenas. It shows that these factors are congruent and
suitable to the Modenas operators. However in terms of
age, race and educational level, it shows that there was
no influence or had just a very little effect towards
career selection suitability in Modenas. In terms of
career personality characteristics, Modenas operators
already have the suitable career characters in their
working scope, which was the R, I and k personality type.
