Healthcare Guarantee System

The purpose of this project is to develop an online Healthcare Guarantee system for Bukit Mertajam Specialist Hospital and American International Assurance. This system can help patient get the online guarantee immediately for each hospitalization cases. Internet has become a popular communication tool that facilitates consumer to get the necessary information through Web. Through the Internet online system, customer can get information regarding their entitlement and insurance coverage. Insurance company can update customer information easily.
The major function of the system is allowing patient to confirm the coverage of admission case. Once the admission form has been filling up, the system will determine whether that admission case can guarantee by insurance or decline. If the case is under cover, hospital can fill in admission bill upon patient get discharge. This system will calculate the insurance guarantee amount and the excess has to pay by patient.
Structure Design Methodology was used to developed this online system. This process involve four phrases, there are analysis phases, to gathering information regarding current system. Design phases on how to construct the new system. We are using relevant software and programming language to develop this system. Finally, this system will be test in the testing phases to minimize system errors.
