Abstract
A new kind of web technology named AJAX is appeared to make online application easier to use, faster, more functional and increase its performance compared with traditional Web applications. By using such technology, web programmers can develop web pages as fast as desktop applications. Which The traditional Web applications have many problems such as slow performance, loss of states, extreme bandwidth, limited
interactivity, and the data transmission have redundant code which is unnecessary in each page. This study is going to apply AJAX technology in the development of online guide
system for new international students in UUM as case study by using AJAX technology.
