Abstract

Employee retention is an important issue that companies should focus on Companies Should identify the factors determining employee retention and strategically move towards improving and implementing necessary policy in those areas efficiently to retain their employees. In current situation Companies are losing their key Employees and not sensitive on why their key talent is leaving. The objective of this Study is to identify the influence of human resource practice on employee retention in private hospitals in Djibouti. A survey was sent to 375 employees and 282 of them Responded.
Data was analysed by “Statistical Package for Social Science” (SPSS Window) Version 22.0. The regression analysis found that there is a significant Relationship between 3 independent variables. The findings found that there was Relationship between the independent variables training and development, reward, and working environment and the dependent variable employee retention. The Regression result indicated there were positive and significant relationships between Training and development, reward, and working environment with employee Retention. Finally, implications, limitations of the study, recommendations and Conclusion were also
highlighted.
