Abstract

Factors influencing employee engagement in the educational sector The engagement of employees is one of the most crucial elements in preserving a company’s reputation over time. Employee engagement is the term used to describe the feeling of belonging that motivates employees to work more for their company. The extent of a person’s mental and emotional attachment to their job, team, and organization is thought to be a key factor in determining how engaged they are at work. In order to further examine the potential factors that influencing employee engagement, this study was developed. The primary focus of this study was on the relationship between job recognition, job motivation, work environment, co-workers support, and employee engagement. About 142 KPTM Alor Setar and Ipoh employees were chosen to participate along the completion of this study. The technique for this study involves convenience sampling. A well-designed questionnaire covering a number of important topics was distributed to the participants. Multiple regression is utilized to acquire the results of this study to make sure they are consistent with the specified assumptions and, surprisingly, the results demonstrate a favourable connection between independent and dependent variables.
