Abstract

In the modern workplace, one of the most crucial factors to take into account is job satisfaction. By raising employee job satisfaction, most organizations are able to accomplish their organizational goals. However, some organizations continue to neglect to consider how satisfied their employees are with their jobs. Employers may find it difficult to compete and survive in the business sector as a result of this circumstance. The taxation sector is significant to Malaysia's economy. A key factor in increasing the firm's aim and target is employee job satisfaction. Researchers discovered that an employee's degree of job satisfaction is influenced by a number of different elements. The primary focus of the study is on the variables that affect the degree of job satisfaction among Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) employees in Wilayah Persekutuan Putajaya. In this study, influencing factors including salary, benefit packages, workload, rewards, and training and development were examined in order to determine the significant association between those elements and the degree of job satisfaction among employees in Putrajaya’s IRBM branch. Distributing questionnaires to arbitrary IRBM branch in Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya, Malaysia, served as the data collection method. The data was analyzed using SPSS. The workload component has been found to have the greatest impact on employees' job satisfaction in an IRBM branch in Putrajaya, Malaysia. A substantial correlation was found between job satisfaction and employee benefit packages at IRBM Putrajaya.
