Abstract

Understanding the factors influencing workforce agility post-pandemic is vital for organizational success. This study aimed to examine the influence of transformational leadership and organizational management practices on workforce agility among manageriallevel hotel staff in the Klang Valley region. This study utilized a quantitative approach and employed a cross-sectional study design. A convenience sampling technique was used to determine the sample. Out of the 200 online questionnaires distributed, 173 usable questionnaires were returned, resulting in a response rate of 87%. Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were used to confirm the research hypotheses. The analyses revealed that transformational leadership positively influences workforce agility, whereas organizational management practices exhibit a negative influence on workforce agility. These findings, however, cannot be generalized to other levels of employees within the same hotels or to different hotels in other regions of the country. Future studies employing different sampling techniques or different industries are recommended to confirm the findings.
