Abstract

Educational Waqf represents a distinctive and innovative aspect of the Islamic social finance system, offering potential in addressing economic disparities and improving the welfare of individuals across various spheres, such as socio-economic conditions, education, and health. Consequently, it is essential to analyze the fundamental factors influencing public participation in educational waqf. This research paper presents the findings of a survey on the determinants of Educational Waqf Acceptance among Malaysian Muslims in Selangor, identifying attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, knowledge, and religiosity as key empirical factors. The survey encompassed 163 respondents from diverse backgrounds, and an analysis was conducted to assess the relationships between independent and dependent variables. Their answers were analysed using SPSS version. The study's results indicate that each of the independent variables, including attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, knowledge, and religiosity, exhibits significant associations with the willingness to contribute to Educational Waqf.
