Abstract

The research aimed at drawing attention to the automation and digitization of the tyre manufacturing industry’s supply chain management. In the context of digitization, the tyre manufacturing industry’s traditional and digitalized supply chains were compared. To investigate the given issue of supply chain management, this researcher used a qualitative approach. The researchers’ structured interviews served as the foundation for the research’s conclusions and outcomes. The evidence-based findings were utilized to delve into the fundamental issues and make recommendations for the future. According to the research findings, the tyre manufacturing business has difficulties using conventional processing techniques to meet supply chain goals and objectives. According to the evaluations given by interviewees, the tyre manufacturing business has problems and challenges since the conventional model used is insufficiently robust. To address the problems facing the tyre manufacturing sector, contemporary models, strategies, and tactics are offered. To accelerate the SCM mechanisms, the study paper makes the case that the use of cutting-edge tyre technology needs to be guaranteed. This study compared old and modern supply chain management and offered insightful, practical information. The research paper also highlights the digitalization that took place in the tyre manufacturing industry. To improve the overall supply chain process, the research also suggested more modern supply chain model and techniques that may be used in the tyre manufacturing supply chain.
