Pola Tabungan Di Negeri Kedah : 1970 - 1995

This thesis is about Kedah state saving polar. It was done based on various secondary data’s which were gathered to form the saving profile in order to identify the factors contributed to Kedah state saving polar.
The findings from the analysis showed that the saving polar trend was positive but a bit behind. It was proved by analyzing the national saving as a proxy to Kedah’s state saving. From the data, it was found that the GDP growth rate for Kedah is the second last in Malaysia. Besides that, researcher found that the economic growth is not balance to the saving.
Various methods and procedures were used to increase the saving via compulsory and voluntarily. Some of the methods are such as by producing variety of products and instruments to encourage deposits in order to prevent
from depending on foreign funds to fulfill the 2020 mission.
Researcher think that, Kedah state should have updated previous and current data’s so that researchers could bring out the state from the list of poverty in Malaysia.
