Abstract
Human capital is a country‟s most vital source of competitive advantage. Creation of entrepreneurial intention among graduates is essential to minimize unemployment among youths and enhances human capital capabilities accumulation. Entrepreneurial intention acculturates graduates with stronger entrepreneurial behavior. This study aims to assess the influence of psychological resources, namely self-efficacy towards two of attitude parameters, namely achievement motivation and risk taking propensity on entrepreneurial intention among business studies undergraduates. Data was collected from 133 undergraduates using questionnaire survey. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention and risk taking propensity. In addition, this study has identified that achievement motivation and risk taking propensity mediate the relationship between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention as well as the achievement motivation mediates the relationship between self-efficacy and risk taking propensity. These findings provide valuable insights for educators, government and related parties in the effort to induce entrepreneurial intention among undergraduates.
