Thus, this study developed to test the significant relationships between the safety attitude and safety behaviour among cabin crew on the passenger’s perception toward the safety level of the IWT. Applying the quantitative method for these research, the questionnaire distributed to 390 respondents randomly consist of 4 sections; the demographic, safety attitude of cabin crews, safety behaviour of cabin crews and passengers’ perception on safety level among the IWT in Sarawak. Then, the data collected analyzed through the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software to test the level of passengers’ perception and the significant relationships between independent variables and dependent variable. The findings showed that the perception of passengers on safety level was at a moderate level, the safety attitude of cabin crews influenced the passengers’ perception at a lower level, and safety behaviour of cabin crews affected the passengers’ perception at a high level. As such, to increase the passengers’ perception, the researcher suggested the authority board of the IWT in Sarawak to enhance the safety awareness among management, employees and passengers in the future.
