Abstract

Nowadays, mental health has developed part of students’ study life to the numerous internal and external prospects put on their shoulders. Every student can feel the impact of a mental health problem in a competitive environment at some stage in their life. As
healthy students will be the healthier employees of the future, the mental health of university students is a key public health problem. The purpose of this research is to analyses parent warmth, self-esteem, and e-learning factors that affect mental health among undergraduate students Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). To analyses the relationship between the variables, the quantitative approach was chosen. The survey was distributed to undergraduate students at UUM's School of Business Management
(SBM) and received a total of 382 responses. The data were analyzed using version 26 of SPSS, and the results showed that parent warmth and e-learning have a significant impact on mental health, while self-esteem does not have a significant impact on mental health among SBM undergraduate students. Therefore, recommendations are made to stakeholders, consequences are mentioned, and future research is also indicated.
