Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine effective school management by looking at the
best leadership style applied in school, the personal factors need for h s leadershipstyle,
has effect of the leadership style on school management and teachers?.The study was
carried out using qualitative approach a semi-structure interview approach of purposive
sampling. Seven respondents from a school in rural participated of Sarawak. Data was collected by interviews a respondent until its saturated (Robson, 2002). The data were
analysed by using transcriptions, reduction, coding and report process (Miles and Huberman, 1994). Results show that democratics leadership style was the most approriate style to apply in school. Democratic leadership includes positive personality, motivate teachers and highly skilled to carry out. The democratics leadership style brings about efficiency in management and positive cultures. Also democratic leadership style guarantees teachers welfare, increased motivation and effective communication
