Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the advantages in the characteristics of military leadership, which has been applied in various life activities as well as to see the
ways it can be implemented in management. The other purpose is to see the contribution made by military leadership to individuals or organizations that is related to it. This paper also discusses the idea of a Chinese philosopher Sun Tzu, which emphasis on moral strength and intellectual faculty as one of the most important
characteristics in war management. These characteristics are supplemented by taking an example of the leadership of
Prophet Mohammad s.a.w. when he was first building up Madinah and managing the said land as an independent country. This study further explored individual characteristics such as Hitler in the Second World War era as well as to a large country like the United
States of Amerika and northern allies, which were involved in the campaign of tracking international terrorists in Afghanistan. Collective organization such as northern allies is formed to increase the moral and this is in accordance with the bright ideas from the intellectual faculties, which consist of leaders from developed countries such as the United States of America and United Kingdom. Effective management is further supported by implementation of quality management as a whole with the introduction of ISO 9000 certifications. This method
was first developed by the British Military Standards and has been used all over the world. There are 133 national standard bodies, which have implemented this method.
This comprised of three quarters of the strength of independent countries, which are members of the United Nations in the whole world (189 countries). The study has clearly shown that Military Leadership method which has been used as a model or standards by the British and can be applied to the whole world.
