Abstract
This study aimed to provide specific guidance related to sound art according to the true foundation of Islam. Each of the teaching that has been prescribed is necessarily coincide and in line with the various desires of human nature. The entertainment field, especially vocal art or singing is among the most favored by humans. We are aware that Malaysia is a country with a majority Muslim population. The most popular art activity is sound art. Thus, some guidelines based on the views of ulema or Islamic scholars, especially among the four major sects have been taken into account determining the legitimacy of music and sound art in Islam. Which one is forbidden or permitted.The question that arises is what is actually the concept of Islamic sound art, and there are also related naqli arguments or proposition and the ulema sects have established the relevant law regarding sound art. Among the objectives of this study is to identify the concept of sound art in Islam. Studying the naqli arguments and comparing the views of the ulema sects. Through library and also through scientific research that is premier and secondary source of reliable
validity. Therefore, through this research based on the analysis of the ulema and Islamic scholars views, it would be a reference to the public in the future.
