Abstract
This quantitative study examined the reasons behind a Malaysian tire manufacturing company's safety performance plateauing at two incidents per year. This research examined the primary factors influencing Employees' Safety Behaviour considering recent incidents, which had attributed to employees’ unsafe acts and behaviours, with the aim of achieving zero-accident. This study employed a cross-sectional survey to assess the relative impact of two pivotal factors which are Safety Leadership, the perceived daily activities of immediate leaders and Safety Climate, the perceived organizational safety environment of a tire manufacturing. This research statistically analyzed the influence of leadership and climate on safety behaviours, yielding data-driven recommendations for targeted intervention, either in supervisor training or organizational culture itself to effectively overcome the safety plateau
