Abstract

This study examines the relationship of safety training, management commitment, and worker involvement on safety compliance among workers in carton box manufacturing in Malaysia. Based on a quantitative research design, data were collected from 153 employees across two factories in Selangor and Perak. The finding indicates that safety training and worker involvement are significant predictors of safety compliance, while management commitment, although positively correlated, is uniquely predict compliance when other factors are considered. The regression models have shown 54.5 percent of the variance in safety compliance, indicating that a combination of training, worker involvement, and management support is crucial for effective safety outcomes. The study contributes empirical evidence to create a comprehensive safety program, emphasizing the importance of integrating these factors to foster proactive safety compliance and reduce workplace accidents.
