Abstract

The purpore of study is to examine the relationship between job satisfaction, Islamic work ethic and organizational commitment and to examine the impact of Islamic work ethic on the relationship between job satisfation and
organizational, especially among Universiti Utara Malaysia staff. A sample of 130 staff members of Universiti Utara Malaysia have been taken for the study. Sampling technique used in this study is simple random sampling techniques,
and data collected were analyzed using the software "Statistical Package For The Social Science (SPSS) version 20" and Eview 6. The study found that there is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction, work
ethics and commitment to Islam among goverment organizations. The study also found that job satisfaction and organizational commitment significantly influenced. The results of the studies found that Islamic work ethic does not affect as a moderator between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.
