Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationship between demographic and Islamic Human Resource Management practices among Muslim staff Felda Holdings Bhd in Alor Setar. Demographic factors that are been used in this study are gender, age and education level. For Islamic human resource management practices there are five
dimensions are been used which are recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, training and development and compensation by Junaidah Hashim (2009). Research methodology consisted of a review of questionnaire that have information about demographic information and Islamic Human Resource Management practices, which has been circulated to the 73 Muslim staff in Felda Holdings Bhd in Alor Setar. The findings showed from six of hypotheses that were tested, three hypotheses have been supported and anothers three hypothesis is not supported. Age showed no
significant relationship to Islamic Human Resource Management practices among Muslim staff Felda Holdings Bhd in Alor Setar. For gender and level of education, it shows Muslim staff Felda Holdings Bhd in Alor Setar have a significant relationship to Islamic Human Resource Management practices. Limitations, suggestions and directions for future research are being discussed
